Community

Community is a comedy series that revolves around a group of students at a fictional community college. Each of them reached there for his/her own reasons and their unofficial leader is Jeff, who used to be a lawyer until his license to practice was revoked.

They start off as a spanish study group but slowly become a group of friends. Their zany and weird nature is cause for some really funny situations and mishaps.

The writers of this show made it fresh and the comic premise seems to be unending. Casting Chevy Chase as the eldest member of the group (yet not the smartest) was a stroke of genius. He's painfully trying to be cool and fit in and get everyone to like him, but he's like a broken toy that does all the wrong things. It may sound sad, but it can get you laughing till you pee.

Aside from him, all the other cast members are pretty much unknown, yet they pull their part quite nicely. Especially Daniel Pudi who turns out to be a very gifted comedian with a rich body language and a pinch for peculiar serious faces.

All in all, it's a new sitcom with a fresh approach that totally grows on you. Its clean humor is a nice touch as well. I recommend it!

Better Off Ted

This one is a hillarious show from the makers of "Arrested Development", and it has a similar feel to it.
The whole show is situated at a imaginary mega corporation called "Veridian Entreprises" where all workers are like numbers, and the only concern is the bottom line. Mmm.. isn't that always the case?
Ted is the boss of R&D in that corporation , and being a good guy, he tries to juggle raising a daughter, keeping the workers happy, and trying to find love all at the same time.
with it's colorful cast of off-the-wall characters such as lem and phil, the crazed scientists, Linda the pretty girl who works under Ted and wants to be more then just his employee, and Last but definitely not least, Veronica, the robotic, crazy and fierce boss of all of them (Ted included) - this show has something to offer for everyone.
Each episode something crazy happens and somehow, by the end of the episode all is right and fine in the world. But in the most crazy funny way.
Again, don't take my word for it. Watch it. It's full of laugh and charm.

Better Off Ted: Season One
Human Target

"Human Target" is a fairly new show that started its first season on Fox not long ago.
HT is based on a comic book series by the same name. The hero of the show is Christopher Chance, a mysterious man who acts as a bait/bodyguard for those who are under threat and can afford his expensive services.
The show has a good pace, and enough twists and turns so as not to bore you after the first few episodes. In the background of things, several by-plots are persued such as what was in the past of our hero, who are his friends, and why he does what he does.
To me it's like a mix of James Bond, McGuyver, and 24 for added flavor. The characters has enough meat to chew on, and the nature of the show retains its comic-book roots. There are some low points as to the cast, but as the show focuses mainly upon Mr. Chance, it doesnt stick out enough as to drive people away.
Let's just hope that FOX doesn't cut this show before it has a chance to rise and shine.
Embassy Row
Chuck
This one is my favourite show. It faced extinction but survived against the odds thanks to a very faithful fanbase and the help of the cast.

The show revolves around the character of Chuck (duh) who was a tech support smart guy who had to leave his studies due to bogus charges.

** Warning! SPOILERS! ** Warning! SPOILERS! ** Warning! SPOILERS! **

Chuck's life goes through a life-changing transition when he gets a very special message from his college old friend and betrayer Bryce Larkin. Bryce sends chuck a huge database that gets absorbed into chuck's brain and leaves him as the only working "copy" of that super-computer, after Bryce destroys the original Computer.

As the "Intersect" (that's the name of the super-computer-database of intelligence data) Chuck faces both danger of being found out and exploited, and the challenge of using his knowledge to help his country with various intelligence missions.

Chuck had reached its 3rd season after almost being dropped at the end of Season 2.
Both persistence (of fans and cast) and enlisted funding of "Subway" sandwich company helped the show return for a 3rd (and hopefully not last) season.

There's much to tell about the show's hillarious humor, great writing, cool/nerdy characters and very distinct look. But all I want to say is: GO WATCH IT!
Get all the seasons available, and start from season 1.

It's techie, it's funny, and its very very addictive.
